Department history

Cardiologic department is functioning since May 1974 and is located on the 6th and 7th floors of the therapeutic section.

Department tasks

Rendering the highly skilled medical and diagnostic help to patients suffering from arterial hypertension, chronic heart diseases and rheumatic diseases. Consulting doctors from other departments of the hospital in questions of diagnostics and treatment of patients with cardiovascular diseases.

Work volume

The capacity of the department-75 beds.

Doctors of department perform functional diagnostics:

echocardiography(ECG)-2 people,
Holter monitoring (Holt. mt.) and the daily monitoring of arterial pressure (DMAP)-1 person,
endometric puncture-1 person

The examination and treatment of patients of cardiologic profile on following diseases is carried out:

Arterial hypertension-a condition of the hypertonic crisis.
High and stable hypertension , that is uncurable in polyclinic conditions
Chronic heart failure at stage of decompensation
Acute coronary syndrome
Heart attack
Sharply arisen disturbances of rhythm and conduction
Acute heart failure.
